Web Developer - Full Stack - PHP, MYSQL, WordPress/Laravel
Job Description:
We are looking for a Web Developer with at least 2+ years of experience.
Expertise in PHP, MySQL, WordPress, web services (REST APIs integration) and familiarity with Laravel is required.
This is a full-time on-site role. NO REMOTE OPTION IS AVAILABLE.
The office is at Malik Saeed Town – near Pasha Clinic, Rawalpindi, must be able to commute to the office.
Working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm (Mon-Saturday)
WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, Jquery, Bootstrap , Laravel
Proficiency in office and robotic process automation a plus.
Other programming skills – familiarity with Visual Studio – C#, VB, VBA and Python are a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Design, develop, record and maintain custom websites and web applications.
• Customize, implement and develop WordPress themes and plugins or Apps to meet specific requirements.
• Ability to create and manage databases for website functionality.
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, Blade, and GIT.
• Must be proficient in web services particularly REST APIs integration.
• Proficient with APIs, XML, SOAP, and other web services.
• Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, payment gateways, and security protocols.
• Ability to work in a LAMP development environment.
• Familiarity with Laravel.
• Excellent Programming Skills and Concepts.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Understand technical and functional specifications/briefs and follow best practices.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal) – required.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
• Sending regular updates about project status.
• Ensuring website accessibility and security to protect sensitive data and user information.
• Knowledge of computer operating systems, web browsers, and mobile apps.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work with teams when required.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Ability to conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changed priorities and timelines.
• Experience designing REST APIs and implementing the OAuth2 security protocol for authentication and authorization. a plus.
• Experience in micro-services development a plus.
• Project experience with Laravel framework a plus.
• Proficiency with MVC/MVP/MVVM and design patterns.
• NoSQL databases (MongoDB) a plus.
• Experience in JavaScript Frameworks (AngularJS/ReactJS/VueJS) a plus.
Experience:
Minimum: 2 years (Preferred)
